Chicago et le Lac Michigan

Le 6 septembre, départ pour Chicago, aka the Windy City. Coup de chance il ne fait pas si windy, et il fait aussi plutôt beau, bien que plus frais qu'à NY. On passe notre première journée à se ballader dans la ville et on s'accorde un apéro au 96e étage...

EL CALAFATE

El Calafate, le paradis des glaciers! On se croirait presque dans une petite stsation de ski, sauf qu'on n'est même pas à 1000m d'altitude.... Le village est rempli de petits magasins de sports d'hiver et de souvenirs "locaux": eh oui pour les touristes...

LA SERENA

Après une brève halte à Santiago, où nous sommes accueillies commes des princesses par Luis qui nous fait visiter toute la ville, nous repartons vers le nord pour La Serena, une ville portuaire réputée pour ses belles plages. On fait un tour d'une journée...

VALPARAISO

Une nouvelle bonne nuit de bus pour se remettre des courbatures et nous voici à Valparaiso. Construite sur de multiples cerros (collines), la ville semble grignoter peu à peu les environs de ses maisons colorées, et dégage une atmosphère très particulière....

PUERTO VARAS

CASTRO

Première impression de castro: le chauffeur de taxi bourré. Bon il faut dire qu'on débarque à 2h30 du matin, notre bateau ayant plus de deux heures de retard... On n'a pas trop eu le choix pour le taxi! Enfin après maints détours nous arrivons quand même...
